I first heard a scratchy recording of this piece on a CD from the ‘Clarinet classics’ series and fell in love with it immediately. It evokes all the fun of the fair and gives the Bass Clarinet a wonderful tune that will put a smile on the face of any listener. A great piece that will add an extra dimension to the repertoire of any Quartet!

This is great fun to play - its full of old fashioned fairground style charm - great if you’re looking for something short and a bit different. Goes down well with audiences too!
