This set contains the main theme (Aria) and four variations, chosen for their suitability for wind players. For those who do not already know the piece, I have put in some tempo markings to give at least some guidance as to the correct tempo. I would recommend you hear the original in it’s natural form via the 1955 recording of Glen Gould. It is truly magical!
(Why not listen to the saxophone recording if you want to have some idea how it sounds!)
